M & D Artistries is founded on compassion and sharing the love and our knowledge especially to our own community.
November 10th, 2018 we had the honor of helping a Colorado Girl Scout troop earn their jewelers badge. We all gathered in the Denver Fire Station and taught these young ladies the tools we use, the process of making their own polymer beads with a old Japanese technique called “Mokume”, how to assemble their own bracelet, how to make their own earrings with wire, and they picked their pendants from our inventory for necklaces for their other troop girls.
It was so heart-warming to see these girls get excited and creative! With a sparkle in their eyes, not a worry in their heart, they created the most beautiful designs for themselves to take home and cherish forever.
I know we will cherish this memory forever!
